Our Swedish based Automotive OEM manufacturer are currently looking for a Project Leader to work within the Human Machine Interface division, and working on solutions for our Driver and Occupant experience within our future vehicle platforms.
Working within the Digital & Interaction team (D&I), a cross-functional team where inter-
disciplinary focus, curiosity and drive are highly valued. The D&I department work in close collaboration with all other design departments in shaping the mobility experience of the future and our next generation vehicles.
As a HMI platform project leader, the focus is to strengthen the collaboration with our stakeholders and parent company in China, where the platform is being built and developed, and at the same time work with the team internally within the design process.
We are responsible for driving the vision and concept for the next generation HMI, and it is of high importance that we develop this as a global platform where all stakeholders from the organisaiton is participating.
The project leader will be a key player to gather the requirements from these stakeholders and transform this into work packages and actions.
The project leader will work closely together with the creative leads for Digital & Interaction to make sure that our concept and vision is meeting the set requirements. Daily activities are to monitor project progress, identify risks and issues and proactively implement corrective actions to ensure project goals are achieved within established timelines and budget.
Requirements
Great knowledge of the HMI design process and best-practices within the discipline
Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of designers, developers, researchers,
engineers, strategists and product managers throughout the design process
A good ability to guide and lead designers with tasks in their daily work
Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, resource allocation, and
deliverables

This is a contract role – initially for 6 months (anticipated on a rolling basis), situated in Gothenburg, Sweden. The role is based on-site at the company HQ, rather than remote based. It is anticipated that the successful appointment may be require to travel to our parent company HQ in China occasionally – so therefore applicants must possess the ability to travel without restriction.
