As an Automotive OEM manufacturer – we are currently looking for a UI Project Manager – to work specifically on the development of our Vehicle App’s. Situated in Munich, Germany. The UI Project Manager will be tasked with the Design Operations and management of the company vehicle app. The current app allows the vehicle owner to interact with the vehicle across a range of useful features. As our vehicles progress through the electric and autonomous gateways – our App’s will play an ever increasing part in our vehicle integration.
Job Description:
UI Design Management for the In vehicle App’s
Management of UI inbox (Jira tickets) with focus on prioritizing design requests for exploration and production
Global UI sprint planning with the global UI design team
Library and asset management within the design toolchain (Figma)
Global Stakeholder Coordination: align requirements and timelines with interface partners (UX, Software Development, Product-Owner Customer & Product-Owner Technical).
App Budget Planning: budget assessment of feature scopes, participation in budget prioritization and planning rounds, annual budget planning (assignment and project distribution to service providers)
Agency management (assignment, briefing and performance acceptance of agencies within ongoing projects)
Team coordination UI Community
Planning, execution, and follow-up of team retrospectives with the objective of identifying optimization potentials and implementing them with the teams
Onboarding of new employees (process, tooling)
Planning and execution of workshops
Moderation and organization of Design Jour-Fix, Daily Standups
Skill set
Demonstrated experience regarding interdisciplinary/agile collaboration in the context of projects with high customer and business visibility
Understanding of Design-Ops model as well as agile design processes.
Exposure to agile tools: Jira, Confluence
Experience with Figma desirable
Ability to organize, prioritize issues
Team communication in English – so a good comprehension of English
This is a fixed term contract role located in Munich, Germany. Applicants must possess the ability to work from the compnay Head Quarters. There may be possible travel to sister-sites – so the ability to commute to other company locations.
