Technicon Design are currently looking for a contract based User Experience Project Leader to support an Automotive brief situated in our OEM in Gothenburg, Sweden.
In order to support our User Experience team in developing UX solutions within our Automotive vehicle brand – Our focus lies within the digital in-vehicle experience and connected services, as well as considering the whole use journey for our customers and users.
Our team consist of UX designer, UI designers, prototype developers and strategists. We strive to focus
on our team members, providing prerequisites to develop the best possible experience for our users in a
complex environment. We work in an agile way, yet not fully complying to one specific framework, aiming
at continuous learning and improvement.
Within this assignment we are looking for a Project Leader / Manager to manage the UX team’s project involvement in different vehicle projects and digital service development, ensuring an overall coherent approach, and keeping an overview of project content, implementation status and cross-team cooperation.
You would work closely with the Head of User Experience and act as their deputy in team management and
strategic work. We are therefore looking for someone with a solid UX background and experience from project and/or team leadership.
Applicant Requirements:
Professional education in UX, HMI, graphics design or similar is a requirement
Circa 10 years of experience in the field of User Experience (UX)
Experience from Project Leadership or Management
Experience within automotive is advantageous
Fully proficient in English is required
Driver’s license B is required
Experience of designing for embedded systems would be advantageous
Agile work methodologies
Software and IT:
Knowledge of Figma Software
Adobe Creative Suite
Software development
Jira is an advantage
This is a contract role – initially for a fixed timeframe. There may be scope to extend the duration following the successful completion of the initial time frame. The role is located on site at our Gothenburg based Design HQ. Occasional travel to China may be required
